Kataeb Political Bureau Member Deems Parliamentary Elections as Key for Change

Kataeb Political Bureau member Joelle Bou abboud on Saturday stressed the party’s firmness in standing in face of this corrupted system plaguing the country today, deeming parliamentary elections as the only way to make an inevitable change.

“The new Lebanon is based on the civil State, which means that the citizen’s reference is the decentralization, the development and the neutrality,” she told Voice of Lebanon radio station.

Bou abboud paid tribute to martyr Minister Pierre Gemayel on his 14th assassination anniversary, saying that the hope will still be there despite all difficulties and hardships.

“The change lies in your hands and it should be translated into the ballot boxes in the upcoming parliamentary elections,” she said.

“We are afraid that the polls will not take place on time as the system is willing to do almost everything to obstruct the elections,” she added.

“Keep on your steadfastness and your stances,” she concluded.
