Israeli Forces Withdraw from Naqoura, Conduct Sweeping Operations in Beit Leef

Israeli troops have been observed withdrawing from the neighborhoods of Naqoura, heading towards Ras al-Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab, while conducting sweeping operations with machine guns, according to reports from Al-Akhbar.

The National News Agency reported that an Israeli patrol, supported by Merkava tanks, military vehicles, and a bulldozer, advanced into the outskirts of Beit Leef, an area that had not been previously reached during earlier ground incursions. Israeli soldiers were reportedly searching several homes and surrounding forests in the region.

Positioned on the outskirts of Beit Leef, the Israeli forces have been sweeping through the town's inner neighborhoods with machine guns. In addition, a Merkava tank fired two shells at a house in the town, further escalating tensions in the area.

Furthermore, an Israeli drone has been hovering at a low altitude over Beirut and its southern suburbs since morning, while reconnaissance aircraft have been flying low over the city of Tyre and nearby villages in the district.
