Nassar Urges Cabinet to Address Hezbollah’s Weapons in Upcoming Session

Justice Minister Adel Nassar called for a formal governmental plan to address Hezbollah’s disarmament, in line with the ceasefire agreement and the principle that arms should be restricted to official state authorities.

According to Voice of Lebanon, Nassar raised the issue during Thursday’s Cabinet session, emphasizing that delaying a decision on disarmament would not be in Lebanon’s best interest.

The minister urged the Cabinet to include the matter on the agenda for its next session, advocating for the swift launch of discussions on the presence of illegal weapons in the country.
