Israeli Army Issues Another Evacuation Warning to Southern Lebanon Residents

The Israeli army on Wednesday issued a new warning to civilians in two dozen villages in southern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate immediately as tensions escalate with Hezbollah.

The warning was addressed to residents of the following villages: Al-Bayyadah, Byout Al-Siyad, Al-Rashidiya, Maashouq, Al-Bass, Shabriha, Tayr Debba, Al-Barghiliyah, Al-Qasimiya Camp, Nabi Qasim, Burj Rahal, Al-Abbassiya, Maarakeh, Ain Baal, Mahrouneh, Bafliyeh, Deir Kifa, Srifa, Arzoun, Dardaghiya, Dahr Barriyeh Jaber, Jabal Al-Aadas, Shuhour, and Burj Al-Shimali.

In a statement shared on X, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, emphasized the urgency of the situation.

“Hezbollah’s activity forces the Israeli army to act against it. The Israeli army does not wish to harm you,” Adraee wrote, warning that civilians in proximity to Hezbollah operatives, facilities, or weaponry are putting themselves at serious risk.

"For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately," he urged, explaining that any house used by Hezbollah for military purposes could be a target for Israeli strikes.

The Israeli army has directed civilians to evacuate northward, away from areas of potential conflict.

“Attention, do not move south! Any movement south could endanger your life,” the statement cautioned, further highlighting the dangers of remaining in southern Lebanon.

Adraee assured the civilians that updates will be provided regarding when it will be safe to return to their homes.
