Kataeb party leader Samy Gemayel issued a stark warning about the perils of brinkmanship amid the ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, cautioning that playing with fire and teetering on the edge could lead to an unpredictable and costly misstep that everyone will pay for.
Gemayel reiterated remarks he made during a recent interview on LBCI, where he stated that while both Hezbollah and Israel are not seeking war, pushing the boundaries could lead to unforeseen and disastrous consequences.
A single stray rocket could trigger a chain of events that neither party desires, he said.
