Lawmaker Selim Sayegh on Thursday shed the light on the draft law submitted by the Kataeb party to classify the silos as a national cultural monument to commemorate the victims of the August 4 explosion. 

“The Lebanese shall recall and consolidate the memory of the August 4 Beirut blast, that claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent people, especially after Hezbollah and its allies prevented the Lebanese from finding the truth about what happened at the port at that time,” Sayegh said in an interview with France 24.
