Quintet Committee Set to Engage With Political Parties and Hezbollah

The Quintet Committee has initiated talks with political factions and various parliamentary groups, including direct outreach to Hezbollah, as reported by Al-Joumhouria newspaper.

Three ambassadors from the committee - French Ambassador Hervé Magro, Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Moussa, and Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani - are scheduled to meet with members of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc.

Additionally, it is anticipated that these diplomatic discussions may extend to Sleiman Frangieh, the leader of the Marada Movement. Sources suggest that the Quintet Committee's efforts are encountering similar challenges and complexities, whether concerning political dialogues aimed at resolving the presidential deadlock or addressing reservations and unofficial objections, particularly regarding certain candidates.
