Kataeb MP Elias Hankache on Friday called on every person who thinks of expanding the Metn landfill to experience and feel the citizens’ sufferings, saying that the best option today is to seek a solution that would have no effect on the Lebanese’ health and the groundwater.
“The main solution behind avoiding the landfills’ expansion is home sorting and waste weight reduction,” Hankache told Tele Liban.
“We have a Cabinet meeting with the concerned Minister in the regard and we hope that such option will never be addressed again,” he added.
