Sources: Efforts Underway to Limit Impact of Imminent Israeli Strike on Lebanon

An Israeli strike on Lebanon appears to be imminent, according to diplomatic sources in Washington and Beirut.

The sources, cited by LBCI, indicated that efforts indicate that efforts are underway to ensure the strike is limited in scope and location, therefore avoiding large cities and densely populated areas to prevent significant civilian casualties and large-scale retaliation by Hezbollah.

This development comes on the heels of a rocket attack on Saturday that struck a soccer field in the northern Israeli town of Goldan, killing and injuring several people, including children.
