Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that the world had reached a point of no return due to what he said was the collapse of the "Western model" of global security.

Putin, who was speaking at a meeting with Russian Foreign Ministry officials, accused Washington of undermining global security because of its exit from arms pacts.
