Justice Minister Adel Nassar paid tribute on Sunday to martyr President Bashir Gemayel, marking the anniversary of his assassination in 1982.
In a post on his X account, Nassar said Gemayel “embodied a refusal to compromise at Lebanon’s expense, paying for his stance with his life."
"He was assassinated standing tall, yet the dream endured. The cowards fell, exposing their crime," he added.
