Justice Minister Adel Nassar met with Canada’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Stefanie McCollum, on Monday in a courtesy visit to congratulate Nassar on his recent appointment.

During the meeting, held at Nassar's office at the Ministry of Justice, Ambassador McCollum reaffirmed Canada’s steadfast support for Lebanon, expressing her country’s commitment to assisting Lebanon across various sectors. She emphasized that Canada stands firmly by Lebanon as it works to overcome its challenges.

For his part, Minister Nassar thanked Ambassador McCollum for her country’s unwavering and unconditional support for Lebanon, underscoring the importance of such international partnerships in bolstering the country's political and economic resilience.
