Kataeb MPs Congratulate Trump, Stress Need for Renewed U.S. Support for Lebanon
Kataeb Party leader, MP Samy Gemayel, extended his congratulations to the newly-elected U.S. President Donald Trump, hoping that his return to the White House would pave the way for stability in Lebanon.
"Congratulations, President Donald Trump, on your election and remarkable comeback. We look forward to renewed U.S. engagement with Lebanon and support for its sovereignty," Gemayel wrote on his X account.
"As you mentioned in your letter to the Lebanese-American community, Lebanon deserves peace. It’s time to make it happen," Gemayel concluded, signaling his hopes for a peaceful and stable future for Lebanon under U.S. support.
Similarly, Kataeb MP Nadim Gemayel took to social media to share his congratulations to the U.S. president.
"Congratulations to President Donald Trump on his re-election. Wishing him and the United States continued success and prosperity. May this new chapter bring greater peace, stability, and progress to our world, and to both our nations," he wrote.
