Israeli Strikes Kill Four Lebanese Soldiers in Two Days, Army Reports

Four Lebanese soldiers were killed in two separate Israeli attacks over two days in southern Lebanon, according to statements from the Lebanese army.

The Lebanese army reported that one soldier succumbed to injuries sustained during an Israeli strike on a military vehicle on Wednesday.

"One soldier died of his wounds sustained due to the Israel army targeting of an army vehicle in south Lebanon," the army announced on the social media platform X.

This followed a separate attack on Tuesday, where an Israeli airstrike hit an army post in the southern village of Sarafand. According to a Lebanese army statement on X, three soldiers were killed in that strike.

The attack in Sarafand reportedly involved two air-to-surface missiles fired by an Israeli drone. The strike targeted a post belonging to the Lebanese army’s intelligence branch, resulting in the deaths of three soldiers and the destruction of the facility.
