Israeli Airstrikes Hit Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes in southern Lebanon, targeting areas near the town of Ansar and several locations in the Tyre district, and on the outskirts of the Bekaa region’s Hermel area, on Sunday morning, local media reported.

The Israeli army confirmed conducting airstrikes in southern Lebanon, stating that one of the targets was a Hezbollah military facility equipped with rocket launchers and other weaponry, where the military reported detecting activity linked to the group. According to the Israeli military, Hezbollah’s actions at the site constitute "a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."

Additionally, the military said it had targeted several other Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon, citing them as "a threat to Israeli civilians."

In the Hermel district, media reports said an Israeli airstrike hit a target near the village of Brissa.

Meanwhile, Israeli drones were reported flying over the capital Beirut and its suburbs.
