Hezbollah's Anti-Tank Unit Commander Killed in Israeli Strike Near Nabatieh

The Israeli army confirmed on Tuesday that it had eliminated Hassan Kamal Halawi, the commander of Hezbollah's anti-tank unit on the group's "Southern Front," in a targeted strike near the southern city of Nabatieh on Monday night.

According to the Israeli military, Halawi played a significant role throughout the ongoing conflict by orchestrating multiple "terrorist" operations against Israel. It also noted that Halawi was directly responsible for facilitating the movement of Hezbollah operatives and the transfer of weapons into southern Lebanon, contributing to the group's militant activities in the region.
