Israeli Airstrike Hits Hezbollah Weapons Depot in Beirut Suburb

After several days of refraining from targeting the Lebanese capital, Israel carried out early on Wednesday an airstrike in the southern suburb of Beirut, a known stronghold of Hezbollah.

The Israeli army issued a statement acknowledging that its Air Force fighter jets, guided by intelligence operatives, successfully struck a Hezbollah underground weapons storage depot in the area.

The military highlighted that the strike was carried out with precision and caution to avoid civilian casualties.
