Hezbollah Drone Attacks Spark Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon

Hezbollah reportedly launched multiple drone attacks towards the Western Galilee on Monday, triggering alarm sirens in 15 Israeli settlements.

In response, Israeli reconnaissance and drone aircraft were deployed extensively over villages along the Blue Line, focusing their surveillance on the Tyre district and the coastal areas.

Israeli warplanes struck the wooded area stretching between the towns of Haddatha, Rshaf, and Teir Harfa, with two air-to-ground missiles. This was followed by artillery shelling that targeted the outskirts of Tyre, affecting the towns of Teir Harfa, Shamaa, and Naqoura.

Airstrikes were also reported near Naqoura.

Moreover, two airstrikes were carried out on the Khardali River – Deir Mimas area and the outskirts of Deir Siryan.

Additionally, around 5:45 PM, Israeli warplanes targeted the eastern outskirts of the towns of Yuhmur al-Shqif and Arnoun with two air-to-ground missiles. This strike was closely followed by another attack on the al-Marj area, located at the southwestern outskirts of Yuhmur al-Shqif, where two more missiles were deployed.

Earlier in the day, Israeli aircraft broke the sound barrier over Beirut, Tyre, and Sidon, further adding to the tension in the region.
