Newly Kataeb elected lawmaker Elias Hankach said that his party’s electoral machine had confirmed the victory of four Kataeb candidates.

“We will enter the parliament with a large bloc including Michel Mouawad in Batroun, Nehmat Frem in Keserwan. We are still waiting for the results of Batroun district to add Majd Harb also,” Hankach said in an interview with Al-Hadath.

The newly elected lawmaker stressed the importance of the elections that were held yesterday, deeming the loss of Elie Ferzli and Assaad Hardan as a great achievement.

“The Lebanese people are capable of achieving change,” he noted.

“Change has begun and the Lebanese has started holding accountable all those responsible of this deteriorated situation,” he concluded.
