Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel met with United Nations Coordinator to Lebanon Joanna Wronecka with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon.

Gemayel stressed the importance of swift election of a rescue president who will be able to address all the issues and stop the collapse at all levels.

The Kataeb Leader highlighted the role of the international community in helping the Lebanese people to restore the crumbling institutions, pointing out the importance of preserving the judiciary and its independence so that Lebanon remains a State of Law that respects the rights of the Lebanese.

The meeting was attended by Kataeb political bureau members Joelle Bou Abboud and George Jamhouri, as well as the party’s International Affairs Secretary Marwan Abdallah and the party’s Foreign Affairs Head Dr. Michel Abi Abdallah.
