Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel held a series of phone calls with mayors in southern Lebanon to assess conditions in their towns amid the ongoing hardships.

Gemayel contacted the mayors of Kawkaba, Rashaya al-Fakhar, Ibl al-Saqi, Marjayoun, Qlayaa, Burj al-Moulouk, Deir Mimas, Rmeish, Ain Ebel, Qozah, Alma al-Shaab and Debel.

During the conversations, he inquired about the situation in the towns and their conditions under what he described as the difficult circumstances facing the area. He listened to the mayors’ concerns and urgent needs.

Gemayel expressed his full solidarity with the municipalities, pledging to use all available means to support them and help residents remain steadfast in their villages and towns. He said the party’s resources would be placed at their disposal to assist them in overcoming the crisis.

He also wished the people of southern Lebanon safety and voiced hope that the region would navigate this critical phase and see stability restored.
