Lebanese actor Nicolas Mouawad has been chosen to play the leading role in "His Only Son", a Hollywood movie on the Biblical story of Abraham and Isaac.

“After long months of wait, I’m super excited to finally share with [you] the news that I was selected out of more than 1,700 actors overseas. ... my first ever American feature movie,” Mouawad wrote on his Instagram account as he was announcing the news.

The 40-year-old actor will play the role of Anraham and will start filming in June in Los Angeles.
