U.S. Seeks Intelligence on Hezbollah’s Revenue Streams with $10 Million Reward

The U.S. Department of State has issued a reward of up to $10 million for information that leads to the disruption of the financial mechanisms of Hezbollah, which has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization.

The announcement, part of the Diplomatic Security Service’s Rewards for Justice program, is a targeted effort to dismantle the group's global revenue streams.

According to a public notice from the State Department, Hezbollah finances its operations through a diverse range of illicit and legitimate activities. These include international businesses and investments, foreign donors, trafficking in illicit drugs and so-called “blood diamonds,” and the smuggling of oil and other commodities. The group also receives direct financial support from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF).

The reward offer is aimed at obtaining actionable intelligence on Hezbollah’s financial networks, including details on its key financiers, facilitators, and front companies.
