The European Union is studying options for strengthening Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces to help free up the Lebanese army to focus on disarming the armed group Hezbollah, according to a document seen by Reuters on Monday.

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been recalled to join the Portuguese national squad for the first time since the 2018 World Cup.
Ronaldo has been named among the players would will play in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Ukraine and Serbia.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world and he is returning to the national team," Portugal coach Fernando Santos said in a news conference on Friday.
"Any team would be stronger with Ronaldo. He already spoke this week about his absence from the national team [to adapt to his life in Turin and to new club Juventus]. The team will be stronger with Ronaldo."
