Report: American F-15E Jets Headed to Middle East Amid Iranian Attack Threat

The United States continues to strengthen its military presence in the Middle East, deploying additional forces and equipment as the threat of an Iranian attack on Israel looms, according to Israel's Haaretz newspaper.

Flight tracking data revealed American F-15E fighter jets are currently en route to Jordan, with Haaretz reporting that at least 12 of the aircraft are expected to join those already deployed in the region.

The U.S. military has yet to release an official statement regarding the recent F-15E movements.

Earlier this week, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the deployment of several B-52 Stratofortress bombers, tanker aircraft, and Navy destroyers to the Middle East as part of an ongoing effort to deter potential threats from Iran.

In a further show of support for Israel, the U.S. also expedited the delivery of the advanced Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system to Israel last month. This anti-missile system, a vital component of the U.S. military’s layered air defense, complements Israel’s extensive anti-missile capabilities.
