Raad: Neither the Government, Nor Its Prime Minister Should Be Proud of 2022 Draft Budget

MP Mohammad Raad on Thursday said that budget figures clearly revealed the depth of the stifling crisis in light of the collapse.

“Neither the government, nor its prime minister, nor its finance minister should be proud of their achievement of this draft budget, just as we do not have to hold them exclusively responsible for the decline in the situation caused by previous governments and policies,” Raad said during the budget session.

“We are dealing with the draft budget that is in our hands, which is a project that reflects the state of the country and its deteriorating conditions. It is, according to the assessment of the Budget Committee, a bad project submitted to us as an alternative to the worst that things will inevitably reach if we do not remedy to avoid it,” he added.
