President Gemayel Pays British Embassy a Visit to Express His Deepest Condolences Over Death of Queen Elizabeth

President Amine Gemayel on Tuesday paid a visit to the British Embassy and condoled with Ambassador Hamish Cowell on Queen Elizabeth II's loss.

“I would like to express my deepest sympathy to His Majesty King Charles III, the royal family, and the British people at this difficult time which Britain is going through. Only lasting legacies that the late Queen left for future generations might alleviate the pain,” Gemayel wrote in the book of condolence.

“I was meant to see Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace during my term as president and to remind her of her charming personality, her vitality, and her compassion for her people as well as for persons going through hardships and tribulations,” he added.

“During this challenging time, the British people are present in our thoughts."

"Long Live his Majesty the King,” he concluded.
