Through a poignant message shared on his X account, Gemayel reflected on the profound impact his grandfather had on Lebanon's history and the Kataeb Party's ongoing mission.

"Today, we remember the Kataeb's towering figure and the rock of Lebanon, who shaped the nation's history and established a party and resistance that know no retreat. His legacy is one of nationalism and Lebanese patriotism, and it will remain firmly embedded in the Kataeb's commitment to defending Lebanon. We remain steadfast today and tomorrow under your guidance," Gemayel wrote.
