Kataeb Lawmaker Nadim Gemayel wrote on “X” platform: “The Parliament is invited to hold sessions to discuss the contingency plan in case Hezbollah decides to drag Lebanon into war.”

“Instead of the State being the authority that makes the final decision on matters of peace and war, and the preservation of Lebanon's sovereignty, Parliament and the Government have today become institutions of logistical support and planning for Hezbollah and other resistance organizations that use Lebanon for their own interests without regard for the interests of the Lebanese,” Gemayel noted.
