The results of the Brevet (Grade 9) official exams were issued shortly after midnight on Friday, with a success rate of 74.23 percent.
Director-General of the Education Ministry, Fadi Yarak, told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the correction of the Baccalaureate exams will start on Monday and will need 10 days to be done.
Yarak pointed out that the ministry had decided to release the Brevet results unexpectedly after midnight in order to avoid celebratory gunfire.
