Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, speaking about the Arab Summit, emphasized its crucial role in addressing the situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

He called for active participation from Arab countries to find necessary solutions for the current circumstances.

Mikati expressed his hope that the summit would provide an opportunity to tackle the challenges posed by the presence of Syrian refugees, which significantly pressures Lebanon and threatens its stability.

He highlighted the importance of Arab cooperation and collaboration with the international community in addressing this complex issue.

Mikati also discussed his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where the Crown Prince expressed support for Lebanon's crisis resolution and its institutions.

However, he stressed the need for required reforms and the full engagement of Lebanese institutions, particularly in electing a new president.

The priority, according to the Crown Prince, is for the Lebanese people to fulfill their responsibilities, implement fundamental reforms, and prevent any threats to Saudi Arabia's security.

The Lebanese government is committed to taking necessary measures to ensure the safety of Saudi society and prevent any threats originating from Lebanon.
