Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati recalled Beirut port explosion on its second anniversary, saying that the darkness of August 4th will not fade before the truth is known.

"A sad day…the darkness of which will not clear up before knowing the full truth, so that the souls of the victims may rest in peace and the hearts of their families may be soothed. The balance of justice will not be straightened without holding the criminals accountable and acquitting the innocent...There is no resurrection for Lebanon without complete justice, no matter how long it takes,” Mikati tweeted.
