Acting governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Wassim Mansouri, confirmed from the headquarters of the General Labor Union that deposits cannot be refunded without building an economy.
He announced that the banks' budgets will soon be based on the actual exchange rate of the dollar.
Mansouri was a guest at the General Labor Union after his meeting with the economic bodies.
He met with the union leadership and a group of economic and legal experts, explaining the financial and banking reality, the issue of depositors, and ways of treatment.
