Kataeb Party leader, Samy Gemayel, expressed his profound sorrow following the death of his personal bodyguard, Tarek Njeim. In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Gemayel mourned the loss of a dedicated companion and a role model to many, reflecting on the deep bond they shared.

"We are crying tears of blood, Tarek!" Gemayel wrote, capturing the intense grief that has overwhelmed him.

Gemayel described the loss as not just personal but as a blow to the entire Kataeb community that Njeim touched with his loyalty, integrity, and unwavering commitment.

“Today, I lost my shadow and a part of myself. My kids lost someone who has carried them on his shoulders since the day they were born. The Kataeb youth lost a role model in commitment, purity, and integrity.” 

"We spent more time together than with our own children," Gemayel added. 

As Gemayel expressed his grief, he acknowledged that no words could fully capture the magnitude of the sorrow.

“No words today can truly express the depth of my grief,” he wrote.

“May you rest in peace, my friend, and may God give strength and patience to your daughter, Lamar, and family,” he said, offering heartfelt support during this painful time.

The tribute concluded with a promise of everlasting love and remembrance.

"We will keep loving you until the end of time," Gemayel wrote. “May your soul be in heaven, alongside the heroes."
