Kataeb Health Council congratulated all those who have won at the Syndicate Pharmacists, namely the party’s Syndicates and Joe Salloum, who was elected at the Captain.

The council voiced regret over the organized chaos that occurred during the Dentists' Syndicate elections such as the electronic malfunctions, the looting , the throwing of ballot boxes, fistfights and the mutual insults.

“All of the mentioned practices took place under the gaze of the media and the people which have caused the suspension of the elections,” it emphasized.

"As the Health Council, we are suprised of the sudden cancellation of the Physical therapists' elections. We consider such unjustified cancellation as the system's espace from the parliamentary elections that are scheduled for spring 2022," it added.

The Health Council called on concerned authorities to conduct the necessary investigations to uncover the circumstances of what happened so as to prevent its recurrence, urging the Dental Syndicate Council, to set a new date for the re-run of the elections as soon as possible.
