Sayegh Pays Tribute to Martyr Minister Pierre Gemayel on His 15th Assassination Anniversary
Kataeb party's Deputy President Selim Sayegh on Saturday paid tribute to martyr Minister Pierre Gemayel on his 15th assassination anniversary, stressing the need to return to the latter’s first and sole goal which is reaching a fair State.
“Pierre Gemayel became a martyr on this day, his assassination was against independence and freedom, against his independent and free voice, and against your voice," Sayegh tweeted.
"Don't let them kill your voice . It is time to register to the elections," he said addressing the Lebanese diaspora.
Former Minister Pierre Amine Gemayel, minister of Industry and past leader of the Kataeb Party, was shot dead in his car on November 21, 2006 by unknown assailants in Jdeideh, Mount Lebanon.
