Resigned kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Wednesday stressed that justice will be achieved concerning the Beirut port explosion that occurred on the 4th of august, saying that the riling elite and Hezbollah have lost their credibility.
“The revolution of every Lebanese will be translated in the ballot boxes in 2022 no matter how they try to manipulate the electoral law and the voting of the Lebanese diaspora,” Hankache said in an interview with Al-Hadath Channel.
“The Kataeb party and the opposition front seek change that will be achieved in the next parliamentary elections that will be held in 2022,” he added.
“All the threats made lead nowhere because the will of the Lebanese people has reached the point of no return,” he pointed out.
“Eventhough the Unites States and Iran have big interests, we must promise ourselves that Lebanon is in the first place and we should not get engaged in the foreign agendas,” he concluded.
