Jreij: August 4th Was Not a Human Error But Rather a Human Act

Vice President of the Kataeb Party Georges Jreij on Tuesday stressed on lifting immunities of Lebanese officials in response to the devastating explosion that has jolted Beirut port on August 4th , extending his deepest condolences to the victims’ families.

‎“The Kataeb lawmakers were the first to resign from the Parliament when they saw that it was no longer representing legitimacy ,” jreij told Voice of Lebanon radio station.

“August 4th was not a human error, but rather than a human act,” he affirmed, wondering why the Lebanese army was absent as the entry of the ammonium nitrate to the warehouse 12 was illegal.

“The judicial investigator is getting closer to an answer concerning the responsibles of the blast,” he said.
‎“Immunities of all the defendants should be lifted , and the most important thing is to reveal the truth ” he added.

“ All the harrasments against the kataeb party affirm the advisability of this party ,” Jreij concluded.
