Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Thursday met with United Nations Coordinator to Lebanon Joanna Wronecka at his house in Sin el Fil, with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

Gemayel stressed the need to hold parliamentary elections on time, calling on the United Nations to pressure towards respecting the constitutional deadlines and provide an international supervision on the voting process to ensure the results' integrity.

The meeting was also attended by the party’s International Affairs Coordinator Marwan Abdallah and the party’s Foreign Affairs Head Dr. Michel Abi Abdallah.
