Senior US State Department David Hale on Wednesday met with Lebanese officials, with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon, namely the government’s formation.

Hale met with caretaker Foreign Minister Charbel Wehbe and Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el-Tineh.

“Cooperation is a must if we need to implement reforms,” Hale said following meeting with Berri.

He also met with PSP chief Walid Jumblat in Clemenceau.

Hale is scheduled to meet PM-designate Saad Hariri at the Center House today in the afternoon.
