Hankache Urges Official Action Against Israeli Attack

Kataeb MP Elias Hankache on Tuesday urged the Lebanese government to take action against the Israeli breach of the UN Security Council Resolution 1701 which considers the Lebanese State as the sole legitimate authority that is allowed to deploy in the border area.

“Following the attack on the country’s sovereignty and the violation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1701, we hold the official authority in Lebanon responsibile to respond and take action in a way that is proper to the Lebanese people’s interest, their security, stability and dignity without going recklessly overboard and implementing outbidding,” Hankache wrote on Twitter.

“The country cannot handle any escapades; we are hardly surviving,” Hankache added.
