Lebanese University Embraces Remote Learning Amid Ongoing Conflict

The Lebanese University announced that it will implement remote learning for the start of the 2024/2025 academic year across its faculties, institutes, and branches. Classes will begin starting Monday, October 28, 2024. 

Specific timelines have been set for different faculties:

Monday, November 4, 2024: Classes will begin for the Faculty of General Medicine, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Law and Political and Administrative Sciences (French branch), the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Public Health, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, the Faculty of Media, the Faculty of Law and Political and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration.

Monday, November 11, 2024: Classes will be launched for the Faculty of Tourism, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Education, and the Institute of Social Sciences will launch their classes on Monday, November 11, 2024.

The university administration emphasized its commitment to remaining adaptable to the evolving educational landscape, indicating that it will continue to hold open meetings to address the needs of the student body and ensure the smooth operation of university studies. Any changes to teaching methodologies will be communicated promptly.
