Depleted and Deplorable, Hezbollah Must Be Dismantled
The value of any Hezbollah leader’s speech is falling faster than that of the Lebanese lira. There is no scale to measure the gap between Hassan Nasrallah’s addresses in 2006 and Naim Qassem’s latest lecture. This is complete bankruptcy. It is not about charisma or delivery but — like anything else in Lebanon — is a mirror of the country’s balance of power. Despite its arsenal of what should now be called illegal armaments, Hezbollah is depleted and deplorable. Qassem’s address had zero impact, with those once forced into silence now speaking the truth — not only from the opposition but also from within government.

Lebanese Forces Coordinator in Jbeil Pascal Sleiman Kidnapped, Investigations Ongoing
According to a report from the National News Agency in Jbeil, four individuals in a white Subaru car forcefully abducted Lebanese Forces Coordinator in Jbeil Pascal Sleiman
The incident took place at the intersection connecting the town of Lahfid to Maifouq as Sleiman was returning from offering condolences.
Security forces are currently investigating the incident, while Lebanese Forces members have gathered at the party's center in Mestita.
Meanwhile, a security source confirmed to MTV website that investigations are underway to determine whether Sleiman was indeed kidnapped or if his loss of contact is due to other reasons.
