MP Melhem Khalaf noted that what was happening today is dangerous to Lebanon.

"My decision to leave the Parliament to stand with the families of the victims, is not a detail, but a necessity to say that a judicial catastrophe befell Lebanon and affected the judicial authority," Khalaf said in front of the Palace of Justice.

"The Minister of Justice must tell the people the details of what happened and offer solutions, and the Supreme Judicial Council must stop the farce that is taking place, as people in Lebanon are in danger," he pointed out.

"Today, Lebanon tends towards sectarian dictatorships in which the law is not enforced, and this is what they want," he added.
