As part of his international tour, Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel met with British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Hamish Falconer with talks featuring high on the latest developments in the country and the region.

During the meeting, Gemayel presented the party's vision for rescuing Lebanon.

He emphasized the need for a ceasefire to serve as a genuine gateway to restoring Lebanon’s sovereignty through the Lebanese Armed Forces' control of the borders and deployment in the south.

He also underscored the importance of revitalizing state institutions and upholding Lebanon’s democratic system, which would enable the country to play a pivotal role in the region and allow its people to live in a free and prosperous nation.

Gemayel also held several notable meetings, including one with Commons Foreign Affairs Committee chairwoman Emily Thornberry.
