Justice Minister Adel Nassar convened an extraordinary meeting on Friday with chief judges from courts across Lebanon to review the current judicial situation amid ongoing challenges.

During the meeting, ministers and judges discussed the importance of maintaining court operations without disruption and ensuring that the judicial system continues to function efficiently despite the prevailing circumstances. Emphasis was placed on implementing measures that allow for the prompt handling of detainee cases, avoiding any delays in legal proceedings.

The discussion also focused on courts located in conflict-affected or high-risk areas, with officials exploring steps to guarantee the continuity of judicial work and safeguard both personnel and the public.
