Israeli Forces Advance into Kfarshouba, Set Homes Ablaze in Adaisseh

Israeli forces advanced into central Kfarshouba on Monday, pushing into residential neighborhoods with tanks and bulldozers while firing machine-gun bursts as they moved toward the western edge of the town near the cemetery.

Amid the incursion, an Israeli aircraft dropped a stun grenade near Kfarshouba Mayor Qassem Al-Qadri and a group of residents who were monitoring the Israeli forces' movements. There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Meanwhile, in the southern town of Adaisseh, Israeli troops set fire to several homes, escalating tensions in an area already witnessing repeated cross-border clashes.

As the situation on the ground develops, the Risala Scout Association has begun clearing roads in Mafilha to facilitate the entry of the Lebanese army and engineering teams.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army and the Red Cross are set to enter the town of Houla to retrieve the body of Khadija Atwi, who was killed on Sunday by Israeli gunfire.

Six civilians remain trapped in Houla after Israel reportedly refused to allow their evacuation. Among them is Hanan Atwi, Khadija’s sister, who was wounded in the attack. Also stranded are her husband, Jad Qutaish, their two children, as well as Fadi Qutaish and his daughter.
