The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it had launched an interceptor missile over the Mount Hermon area to take down an Israeli Air Force drone that had malfunctioned. According to the Israeli military, the drone was deliberately shot down to prevent it from crashing in Lebanon.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade in the Khallat al-Mahafir area on the outskirts of Odaisseh, where residents had gathered.
The National News Agency (NNA) also reported intensified Israeli drone activity over southern Lebanon. A drone was seen flying at a low altitude over the city of Tyre, while another flew at an extremely low altitude over several towns, including Abbasiya, Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, Bedyas, and Bourj Rahhal. The drone's path extended to the banks of the Litani River in the Qasmiyeh area and reached the skies over Jezzine and its surroundings.
