Israeli Army Vows to Block Hezbollah from Rebuilding Its Capabilities

The Israeli army said on Thursday it carried out overnight airstrikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

In a brief statement, the Israeli military did not specify the exact locations or nature of the targets struck, but accused the group of operating from within civilian areas.

“Hezbollah is cynically exploiting civilian infrastructure for terror purposes, and using Lebanon’s residents as a human shield,” the Israeli army said.

The military added that it would continue to take action against Hezbollah's attempts to rebuild its capabilities or deepen its military presence near the border.
