Israeli Airstrike Targets Villa in Aley District

An Israeli airstrike on Tuesday targeted a villa east of Beirut, local media reported. 

The Lebanese state-run National News Agency confirmed the attack, reporting that Israeli warplanes struck a house located between the towns of Baalshamieh and Dhour Al-Abadiyah in the Aley district.

According to an initial toll issued by the Health Ministry, at least five people were killed and two others were injured in the strike.

Preliminary reports indicated that the airstrike targeted a three-story villa belonging to Mustafa Murtada, resulting in the building’s total destruction.
